LAX Term 6 and Term 7 are connected by a passage-way - along the outside wall of the terminal. From Term 6 head in the direction of the exit - and turn right before the escalator to baggage. I have used this to meet friends at the Red Carpet Lounge connecting on UA when I was arriving on CO next to the PC.

TED might also fly out of TERM 8 in addition to Term 7 - so I am not sure if there is a connector there. Most LAX terminals do not connect.
