As an example, I'm attempting to travel on the island hopper and it showed one layover time of -449 minutes.

I also attempted to book a segment that left "before" my previous one took off (thanks to the date line) and it wouldn't allow it.

Travel time appears to be based on difference in time than actual travel time.
