Flew NZ 2 AKL-LAX on 13 September. Hot, borderline scalding, water coming out of the taps the entire flight. No cold water at all.

FA said they sometimes have this problem on the refitted aircraft and was filing a maintenance report.

Is this a common problem in your experience? Had to use bottled water for brushing teeth. Could barely stand to wash hands in the lav, that's how hot the water was.
