I always use the train to Paris, but Brussels is a slightly different equation as BRU is infinitely better airport than CDG and closer to Brussels centre than CDG is to Paris centre. But even so, I would usually choose Eurostar for Brussels anyway, unless there was some compelling reason to go on BA (TP's needed etc.)

Also, you've got to THINK OF THE ENVIRONMENT!!!!!
