From the Titanic onward, to the more recent SS.Oceanos and even a 1980's BA 737 UK Ground Fire, information seems to indicate that at times of crisis and survival its everyone for themselves.
Thats why I always cringe when FA's post on this Forum that they are there primarily for passengers safety. I'm affraid that on matters of life and death history indicates all training goes out of the Window [So to speak].
