If you have a few hours layover, instead of going in to the hotels in New Kingston (as previously noted), check in then get a cab to take you to Morgans Harbour (at Port Royal, at the end of the spit of land the airport is on). Much closer, and relaxing place to "chill" at

Having said all that, if you had the chance to transit via MBJ I'd choose that terminal over KIN
