We do use skype on a daily basis. I know it is illegel to call a landline through Skype in China, and maybe they will find a way some day to control that. They do do block Sipgate.
Peer2Peer Voice over IP is no problem though.
That calling is cheaper when there are no phone charges is just an illusion as time becomes the expense.
