Same here. 5K cert was included in downgrade renewal kit. It may have just been a packaging mistake. You should contact the Ambassador CS centre to enquire about having one sent, or having the points posted to your account as a courtesy in lieu of cert.
I always thought the airline bonuses were for first time signups and not renewals. As well, won't you be billed $150 instead of the $100 renewal rate?
