I stay at SFO when I have early morning flights connecting to Europe (impossible to get down there via public transit for an early morning flight), but can't recall ever getting a hotel in the airport zone for less than $40. Looks like I need to bid lower next trip I've been at the Holiday Inn, Doubletree, and Sheraton. I bid for an FTer in Paris and we always seem to end up with the Hyatt (though it might be a 4* while others are 3*).
