Search is broken so apologies if this has been answered already...I recently got Platinum status, and I'm trying to understand whether that entitles you to Club access automatically when staying in hotels that have club floors. The language on spg.com says you're entitled to the "best room", which I presume includes club floors, but if they don't have a room on a club floor to upgrade you to, can you still use the lounge?

I'm trying to figure out whether I pay for access on my next stay. I'd pay the $30 extra if that's what it takes, but don't want to do it if I'll get access gratis anyway. Any advice would be appreciated.
