You could use PDF Creator (http://www.pdfforge.org/) which is an open source toll creating a PDF DOcument using the printer (like e.g. done in Open Office Documents).

I have done this in the past sometimes, by using the selection Print thread and then print it va PDF Creator and generating a PDF Document.
