I've actually wondered that myself, but then I realized that the miles required for these are the same mileage as Star Alliance awards, and its the same for standard and saver. (Ex: UA Saver Business to Africa is 120K, UA Standard Business to Africa is 120K, and Star Alliance to Africa is 120K). So I think they just the Star Alliance awards for these places on those charts.
I think they just list it so you dont look at it and say "Darn, I cannot go to XYZ with my miles" before you realize there is a Star Alliance chart as well.
