I have never experienced that yet. But i wanna ask, how will they check ur baggage in as there is no belt?
I always think SQ 1st class check in at SIN T2 is great, they hv a dedicated room for checking in, agent, PORTER service...
Will CX offer porter service or limo service juz like wat VS does?
CX odes not have Limo service ex HKG, but on certain fares they have it in LHR. As afra as I know there are no porter service (but maybe different for VIPS and INs)
How the checkin works in the F Class section is once you approach the counter a baggaage handler(well they are dressed in CX uniform so they are porters) will take your trolley/luggage immediately and they will put a special F Class priority tag onto the bags, these tags are serial numbered and you are you will be given a tab for each bag. Normally if there are not a lot of people the porter will immediately give these tabs to the CSO to enter in the CUPID system.
So once you complete the checkin at the podium, they will print out the bag tabs with the serial number on it. This will be matched to the bags already at the belt and be bag tags will be attached to the luggage and it will be sent down the conveyor belt.
IMO it is an excellent idea. Also the porter at the checkin podium can help with packing on the spot if you need a courtesy box.
