I'm curious about checking-in procedure, what do you do?

Do you hand then your shiny gold card and let them know you're gold and presumably they swipe and get your details.

Or Just say "I have a reservation this evening"...

Or simply hand them a print out of the booking confirmation.

Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but my shiny piece of plastic is new and going to be used for the first time tomorrow and I don't want to look like a dork by handing them my card - "Yes sir, very nice, can I now take your name..."!
