If it's done succinctly in a non-canned fashion, I appreciate it. (Especially if they don't take half an hour with a cute safety lecture. Yes, I've had a couple amusing ones, but 95% of them are oh-so-annoying. No, the oxygen masks and life vests are not fashion accessories. That already got annoying back when I was a little kid.)
Fortunately I usually already have the in-ear headphones in when they get to trying to sell me duty free and soliciting for charities that have a 10% administrative overhead.
