So, if what the OP relates is accurate, should we expect mainline flights to/from DCA to operate out of T-C while the CoEx flights to/from DCA will be in T-A?
That seems like it would create a lot of unnecesary confusion.
BOS currently has 3 mainline and 1 CoEx flight/day.
DCA has 2 mainline and 3 CoEx flights/day.
IAD has 5 CoEx flights/day (no mainline).
Part of the unknown is when COEX leaves and takes the 69 a/c with them what if any flights might be cancelled out completely. Yes someone is suppose to step up and take over, but will it take over everything as its been?
You do have some good questions, I really didnt go into any details with either guy. It did hit me as strange that I was able to sit next to 2 different pilots 1 EWR based the other IAH, and when we chatted that each mentioned the Switch to me.
Could be CO will Mainline what till now were RJs or just drop a route or 2 or have less flights to certain cities. I really dont know.
