Yes, I hate people who read newspapers on crowded planes in Y! Part of me almost believes we should ban newspapers in Y.

It makes me more comfortable in that I don't have to lean away or twist my legs and arms in some uncomfortable position to avoid being touched by the rude seatmate. I just sit however I want and ignore the fact that my seatmate is bumping me. Yes, it is still highly annoying that I am being bumped by my seatmate. But I find it to be less annoying than trying to lean away, because if I lean away I have not only discomfort but also anger over my seatmate taking over my space. By not leaning away, I essentially declare that I am not going to let them take over my space. (And hopefully they are annoyed at me repeatedly bumping the parts of their body that are intruding into my space, and maybe, just maybe, they will eventually understand how rude their behavior is.)
