This is different, but maybe not a problem. When trying to book a Co.com special to N.Y.C., I could only specify one airport for the special. In other words, this week if I fly from CLE to EWR or LGA, the flight it $99 RT if flown Sat with a return Monday. However, if I want to fly Sat to EWR and return Monday from LGA, it prices out at $580. Conversely, if I fly to LGA and return from LGA, it is again $99. I thought that NYC was considered one airport and the fares from one airport were the same as another assuming all other booking factors were constant. Are the fare rules for these tickets airport specific even in the NY metropolitan area or is this another website glitch? BTW, the reason I could not go into LGA on Sat is that the only cheap flight was at 5:30PM, which was too late for me. Thanks.
