Depends if there is anything specific you to go to Singapore for.
KUL has all the hotels, food and shops for half the price of Singapore. Where else can you get a 5* suite (the Ritz Carlton) for US$ 200 per night. Just imagine what you can get a 3* or 4* hotel for. You should do some hotel comparisons.
In any case, the
train from KUL to SIN rather cheap.
