I'm guessing that they moved it up because they either need the AC in EWR earlier, or they need it to actually be there by 7pm. That flight was always late, frequently as much as 2.5-3 hours. Usually blamed on ATC, but if you can never get a flight in on time, may as well move it and actually make things run more smoothly for everyone.
