Bus to Hatton X from Clapham Junction? I think you've missed out "train to Feltham" in the middle there, and the bus number from Feltham is the 285.
Ah whoops re the Feltham bit!!
I did try taking the X26 once from East Croydon, however it never came and I had to hop on the train / tube combo!!
I would normally take the train/tube combo, but with the works going on with Heathrow T4 Tube, I wasn't sure which option to take.
