Today was the thrid time I was flying AF this week. And guess what: The third time my luggage did not arrive (although admittedly, DL is to blame here).

When you are outside your home country you can claim 100 euro in first necessities. Has always been paid (by KLM here in NL) quite fast. (I never make it to 100 euro).

I pack with the idea of lost luggage in mind nowadays.
