I was asked by my boss to come help her in LV 10/18-10/22.Just tried to book a room and I find my fave hotel(the Renaissance)is sold out that weekend-but had rooms @159 Wed and Thurs-and most other Marriott props have pretty high room rates.
Was able to book the Alladin for $149 for the weekend-not horrible.
It will take a little creativity justifying the expensive rooms on my expense report.
So I look at the LVVCC calander and see the biggest meeting during that time is a dentist thing at Mandalay-50,000.And a 15,000 person show at the CC(that would explain the Ren being sold out-it is right next to the CC)and a lot of other little meetings and conventions all over town-just enough too make it hard to get a good hotel at a good price.
I will keep trying,I really do not want the hassle of changing hotels.
