I got an operational upgrade to first class on my EWR-CDG this year. It too was my first time up front on a 777. Nice. Even nicer because it didn't cost me any money or miles. That awesome upgrade, in fact, is the only reason I am staying with CO after getting an abysmal 34% upgrade rate this year, that after being gold throughout most of the year and now platinum. Anyway, given the choice of being in CDG instead of CLE, I think we all would say
