The DL Plats love to claim there is no problem with SS availability. Kind of akin to a white homogenous neighberhood believing that racial harmony exist.
I am not now, nor have I ever been, a card-carrying member of the Platinum Party.
Admittedly, in my youthful past I flirted with the idea of it and even became a member of the Gold Party, but that, too, has passed.
I am now a lowly Silver and even that will end in February.
Strangely, I have been able to get SkySavers ranging from Biz Elite from TLV-FLL, to Coach (SAV-LGA), to partner flights (TLV-MXP).
I guess that property values in the neighborhood are shot to hell.
