Non-stop AC to LAX will be used when I go to LAX and want to experience that zoo. In the meantime, I fly other carriers to avoid that mess and the horrible drive.
As to marketing, from 0 market share to where they are speaks volumes.
To think that a "low cost" "no frills" airline with its hub in the most expensive airport int he world and seat back tvs would go to ONT instead of LAX is a pipe dream. Your'e right, they should be based out of YHM instead of YYZ and fly to ONT instead of LAX, but WS won't, because they're the kind of airline that has a base in YYZ. Why they don't try to seperate themselves beats the hell out of me, and causes my loyalty to go to AC.
