Tried to call in the plat line to put my old parents on their preferred seats 24D, 24E. Couldn't do it as they are not elites. Two agents said the same thing so I am giving it up.

But curious enough, the 2nd agent started to question how they are put into 36B, C, as they are exit seats! Now, I know 36A, 35B, 35C were the exit seats every time myself flew 744. And the online seat map is in agreement with me. However, the agent said the entire row of 36 are exit seats, and that's how it's showing up on her computer. Weird. It will be very hard for 36B to get up to the right position in time to help with the exit door if needed.
