I've been traveling at right on a EXP pace since starting my new job in mid-April (46 segments since 3/30 with 6 more coming this week). Unfortunately, this pace will leave me well short of 100 in the calendar year, facing almost another 12 months of life in the cattle car with the rest of the "platinum scum". With the wife leaving the country for a month in Oct/Nov, I'm wondering if it's worth trying to rack up 20-25 segments with weekend day trips.

I've read quite a few threads in this forum, but they're mostly concentrated on racking up large numbers of miles/points, rather that explicit segments. Any pointers on how to search for inexpensive, multi-segment, day-trip fares from DFW/DAL would be appreciated.

Alternatively, "you're nuts!" is an acceptable answer too.
