We are taking a tour to China in March of 07. Flights will be from LAX to PEK and returning PGV to LAX. My prelim information is that there will be 2 groups of 100 each. One group will fly on Air China and the other will fly China Eastern.

If I have some input into which airline we get put on which should I pick and why? One has a stop going and the other has a stop coming back. Neither have a change of planes.

We might be able to earn United miles on Air China but at this point I have no idea what fare class the group will be booked in.

China Eastern is not affiliated with a alliance as far as I can tell.

I will be flying economy and my husband will most likely buy up to Business Class.
