I don't know about Hana, but I know jets have served both MKK and LNY. I remember Aloha advertising 737s into LNY, and I did HNL-MKK in a Hawaiian DC-9 once (that direction only, the return leg was on a HA codeshare segment operated by a Mahalo ATR-42).
