Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like there are a few options available to me... as I'll be spending the majority of my time in Malaysia it might be worth me getting something once over there (based on the ability to top up)?

Paying for incoming calls sucks! I'm suprised at that... but its not the end of the world I guess. Maybe I'll be able to find a 'free incoming calls' provider in Malaysia?
