I don't think ADR would work. Technically, you are not even a stockholder via ADR. The sponsors of the ADR, banks or trust companies, are the stockholders. They pass the benefits (dividend, stock appreciations etc.) to you, but you are not legally a stockholder. Don't forget, you didn't buy a stock, you bought an American Depository Receipt.

If you have at least two flights on NH, you could try the Visit Japan fare.
