So hourly rate crew members who appear for work lose the entire RT ? Are you kept " whole " in your schedule for the entire month to net no decrease in pay ?
What always crosses my mind is if I check in down line - lets say in HKG - for an AA flight out of NRT that is cancelled I wont hear of the cancellation until check in at NRT. It would appear to be a good opportunity for AA to pre-emptively see the upcoming re-routing necesssary and get me out of HKG in a more acceptable manner.
Then again 99% of the CX HKG staff couldnt handle the irregularity.
