In any case, the Mesa CRJs are 2x2. The exit row seats are slightly less comfortable (they are about an inch or so shorter in the flat area of the seat), but have more legroom.

I actually like the RJs: quicker boarding (less pax) and a guarantee of no middle seats...

The CRJ900s that US flies seem to have every window perfectly misaligned with the seats. At least the ones that I have been on have been that way.

As far as comfort, I find the seats narrow and very hard. Tolerable for a very short haul, but for flights of more than an hour or so, I try to avoid them.

If you are looking for 2X2 seating, the EMB170 is a lot more comfortable. Both wider and softer.
