You sure about that? I've been on many "pocket rockets", and the windows are remarkably better aligned on the 900 and 700. The CRJ1s and CRJ2s have misaligned windows, sure...
In any case, the Mesa CRJs are 2x2. The exit row seats are slightly less comfortable (they are about an inch or so shorter in the flat area of the seat), but have more legroom.
I actually like the RJs: quicker boarding (less pax) and a guarantee of no middle seats...
