R and I untypically hadn't done all the sprucing we normally do before heading out, and found we both looked a little scraggly. Within a block of the Marina Mandarin we found the most incredible, computer-controlled shop!
Wait, wait, *humans* did the scissors-wielding, but a coin into the scheduler allowed us to select our stylist and indicate roughly the style we wished and the approximate time we wanted to start and finish!
In the chair there was a certain amount of gesturing and finger-combing that went on with our non-English speakers---("Isn't this Singapore?? Hello??) but the results were most satisfactory. Even got *compliments* when we returned to image-conscious ellay and new yawk
Sad to say, when we there last year, hotel expansion/roadway construction had swept away the shop. TSK!
