I haven't heard anything about this. Definitely no announcements have been made on any of the domestic U.S. flights I've been on recently (UA, AA).

This one leaves more questions than answers. Obviously Korean Airlines is concerned about the Dell batteries that have been in the news recently. But I don't get the reference to the unaffected Dells. I don't know if the Dell battery risk is real or not, but AFAIK the un-recalled models are just as safe as any other laptop.

Other questions:
- Are they going to check every laptop bag at the door to the aircraft?
- If I have a Dell, but I've already acquired a new, safe battery, can I use it?
- If I have a Dell with a "bad" battery, and take it out before I enter the cabin, can I put it back in and use the computer during the flight?

Whole thing seems kind of dumb...
