For EVA, you need to be on a 777, not a 747. The flights through LAX are being shifted over now, and you should see the equipment on there website (try looking up schedules or reservations there).
For KE, they used to have (and hopefully still do) a webpage showing whch routes have updated seate and A/V systems.
