There's not a substantial difference. I liked Melville better, but not enough to recommend you go far out of your way to stay there. As you surmised, both are SIROTM full-service properties.

As an interesting aside, it was when I, too, was living in Melbourne that I used to travel to that part of Long Island--how funny!
