Well.....
My friend in Taiwan just called them. They said the flights will stop again Oct25th. This is also "unannounced" - but a number of their agents are running around selling discounted tickets. One agent told my friend she would have no problem using the ticket until next year... as the ticket is valid until then.

All very silly....
