Just be careful of which Hilton to choose. Hilton Munich City is the one mentioned here, while Hilton Munich Park is further from city.

If you end up at Munich Park, bus 54 goes from Ostbahnhof right to the hotel, or quicker from Giselastrasse in the opposite direction.

I have never been upgraded to suite on either hotel, with Gold or Diamond... usually executive floor though.
