I am so used to EWR that I never notice this stuff any more. I consider EWR to be "standard airport experience" and anything better than that is an improvement. There aren't many airports that rank below, but I'd say for me, LAS is consistently bad, and SJC can be a nightmare at times. I find it amusing how many people have problems with EWR here...not to make light or say you're wrong, I just see it as status-quo. One of the benefits to being born and raised in NJ I guess.
