The Hilton is pretty nice. It is right above the subway, has all the comforts you'd expect and is not horribly overpriced.

The subway to the center of town (Hauptbahnhof) is about 5-7 minutes. The subway line also connects to the Munich airport, which is about a 35-40 minute ride (much better than getting a car).

It also has a few decent restaurants in the area, is near several museums, and several nice walks.

If you are driving, it has an underground garage, but you have to pay extra for that.
