Well, perhaps from that comparison you can judge how valuable Platinum status is at Priority Club.

(It compares rather poorly to most competing frequent guest programs. Depend on it meaning bonus points and not much else, and perhaps you'll sometimes be pleasantly surprised. Expect it to be recognized with visible benefits at hotel stays, and you'll be let down!
That's why Priority Club had to come up with Ambassador status, and then Royal Ambassador on top of that. Because their Platinum is not worth all that much...
