I have to put in a vote for the Pearl Beach Bora Bora. Mrs. Clover and I were there about 4 years ago. We stayed in an overwater bungalow that was fantastic. The food was above average to fabulous and the staff was extremely helpful. The bungalow we had was the last one on the end of the row of o/w bungalows. We felt truly isolated and private out there. We loved being able to just go down a couple of steps into the crystal clear water at any time day or night. The room was extremely well appointed and comfortable. I wish I could remember the room number, but they will try to accomodate a specific request (which they did in our case).

There is a website that was very helpful to me in considering the alternatives at the time (though some of the hotels mentioned above did not exist then!). http://www.tahiti-explorer.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi .

I'm sure you will have an unforgettable vacation.
