I flew to EZE out of DFW (originating at JFK) this past summer, and returned in Y. It's managable; just don't expect to get any sleep unless you can get the AC to block you an entire row of 3 seats somewhere. If not, the exit row is the way to go.
You can route through MIA if you want a 772 and a slightly shorter ride. In my case, I chose to fly via DFW in order to get the extra q-miles.
