the only advantage might be- if you are an Ameniti member- call and see if there is a "full" fare 2 for 1 on either UA or NH - if they will sell you a "DFULL" or equivalent, you can bring a companion for less than the cost of two NH "Z"'s
tried that over at UA two for one was twice the price and at AMEX JAL was double also
