I did a transatlantic KLM flight in late September. This activity was not transferred automatically to the 'new' FD program, that is. this activity now does not count towards status for 2002. I find that unreasonable. Did anybody have any luck with getting status credit for flights before the changeover date?</font>
Yeah, that's a big one for a lot of people. The FD program says that any flights or transactions which were received after the 18th October, I believe that's the date but don't quote me on that, even if they were made before the change of the programs will be credited to count for the new year.
Eh, was that a clear sentence?
The problem is simply that after the conversion of the programs it is so technically difficult to have the flight credited for points and then recalculate the whole total at conversion date, have that changed in aaaall the computersystems FD works with, change the status too, have new cards made etc. So FD sent out the message as I tried to explain to you all above.
I think that people from complaint handling will give the same answer.
