Note you will not be able to get an AKL-LON booking and MFU it - BA do not have any services from AKL so you have to bank on what you planned originally, e.g. either a MFU from HKG or LAX or somewhere else BA serve directly. Your non-MFUable portions/separate tickets would therefore be from SYD-AKL-HKG/LAX/???
