One note for you ... depending on your nationality and the airline, if your permitted stay in Thailand is 30 days, and you have a RT ticket to Bangkok with a duration of more than 30 days, when you check-in you MIGHT have to have some proof that you are departing Thailand sometime during that stay. This is sporadically enforced.
